California consistently ranks in the bottom 10 states in per-pupil funding for TK-12 education. State funding for education is so low that school districts can only provide the most basic services. 


At Malibu Elementary we want more for our children than the basics provided by the state! Although MalibuES is a public school, parents and the community need to financially support the school to fill the gap. ​

Now that school is reopening it is more important now than ever to give. 


The PTA cut the budget and streamlined expenses since our kids were not in school. To provide individual supplies for each of our students while distance learning many of our classroom supplies budgets have been maxed out. With kids on campus in the next few weeks, we need to provide additional support for our students' needs for remainder of the year!  Plus we need to ensure that we can cover the start of school cost for next year!
